Yemeni official condemns Gulf states’ deals with Trump amid Gaza war

A senior Yemeni official condemned Persian Gulf states for striking multi-billion-dollar deals with Trump, urging that financial gains be used to stop Israel’s war on Gaza.

AhlulBayt News Agency: A high-ranking Yemeni official has denounced certain Persian Gulf states for striking multi-billion-dollar deals with US President Donald Trump during his recent tour of the region. He stressed that financial gains from such agreements should be used to stop the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on Gaza.

Mohammad Ali al-Houthi, a member of Yemen's Supreme Political Council, stated: “The money flowing from [Persian] Gulf countries to the US should at the very least be used to halt the genocide in Gaza and allow humanitarian aid in.”

He further criticized Trump’s four-day tour of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, describing it as more about extortion and money-grabbing than about development.

Houthi expressed disillusionment with Arab regimes, stating that they remain in a state of defeat and psychological collapse.

He remarked: “Arabs possess levers for pressure or influence which they can use. Nonetheless, they have opted not to employ them and have even taken the decision not to break off diplomatic ties with the Zionist entity.”

The senior Yemeni official also criticized the Arab League, arguing that the regional organization has long been inefficient and has failed to take a single honorable stance on Gaza or any other issue.

As the genocidal war on Gaza escalates, Yemen has enacted a strategic blockade on essential maritime routes, aiming to obstruct military supplies to Israel and urge international action regarding the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have declared that they will continue their assaults until Israel ceases its ground and aerial offensives in Gaza
